The Nuaire DRI-ECO-HEAT-HCS provides whole home ventilation using the Positive Input Ventilation principle. Essentially the concept is to introduce fresh, filtered air into the dwelling at a continuous rate, encouraging movement of air from inside to outside. To achieve this, the unit is mounted in the loft space, drawing air through the filters and inputting it, at ceiling level, into the property. An integrated heater tempers airflow should the temperature in the loft space drop below a set point, ensuring ultimate comfort in the home. Please note this unit cannot be linked to external sensors as it does not have RF capability.

Nuaire MRXBOXAB-ECO4 Whole House Heat Recovery
The Nuaire MRXBOXAB-ECO4 range of units are part of Nuaire`s Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) range, suitable for medium-sized existing or new build properties upto approx. 270m2(subject to installation being well designed and installed).
MRXBOXAB-ECO4 units are designed with an automatic 100% bypass as listed on the SAP Product Characteristics Database (PCDB).
The ECO4 operates by continuously extracting moisture-laden air from ‘wet’ rooms within your home and at the same time drawing in fresh air from outside via suitable Wall or Roof vents. The heat from the extracted stale air is recovered in the heat exchanger inside the ECO4 unit which becomes tempered and filtered before being input into the habitable rooms, creating comfortable and well-ventilated homes.
The heat exchange block within these units can recover up to 95% of the normally wasted heat. The unit contains 2 independent fans that have full-speed control for background and boost ventilation rates. Basic speed controls are located on the front of the unit.
This unit includes an integral humidistat which can be accessed on the front of the unit. This humidistat can be set to boost the unit once the extracted air reaches a set Humidity point. The unit will return to normal operation once the humidity reduces below this set point.
The ECO4 unit can be linked to the Nuaire VSC controller unit for wider control options. Giving the owner a wider range of commissioning and end user functions.
The unit has a summer bypass feature. In warmer months this function automatically activates to ensure the property is well-ventilated and comfort levels are maintained in the home by continuously delivering fresh filtered air into the habitable rooms.
This size of unit is suitable for ventilating one Kitchen and up to 7 wet rooms. It will deliver a maximum flow rate of approx. 150l/s
