The Nuaire MRXBOXAB-ECO3 range of units are part of Nuaire`s Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) range, suitable for medium-sized existing or new build properties. MRXBOXAB-ECO3 units are designed with an automatic 100% bypass as listed on the SAP Product Characteristics Database (PCDB). The ECO3 operates by continuously extracting moisture-laden air from ‘wet’ rooms within your home and at the same time drawing in fresh air from outside via suitable Wall or Roof vents. The heat from the extracted stale air is recovered in the heat exchanger inside the ECO3 unit which becomes tempered and filtered before being input into the habitable rooms, creating comfortable and well-ventilated homes. The heat exchange block within these units can recover up to 95% of the normally wasted heat. The unit contains 2 independent fans that have full-speed control for background and boost ventilation rates. Basic speed controls are located on the front of the unit. The ECO3 unit can be linked to the Nuaire VSC controller unit for wider control options. Giving the owner a wider range of commissioning and end user functions. The unit has a summer bypass feature. In warmer months this function automatically activates to ensure the property is well-ventilated and comfort levels are maintained in the home by continuously delivering fresh filtered air into the habitable rooms.
